Most Southern California based multi-location business phone systems customers that still use Verizon or AT&T generally believe two things:
1. There's an illusion of safety being with an old "Ma Bell" business phone company, and
2. Darth Vader himself is in charge of Verizon and AT&T's "customer service".
Why do business phone customers put up with bad customer service to stay with Verizon or AT&T? Probably because they don't know that there's "a force" in the universe that's just as safe with much better, "telecom agent powered" customer service called Comcast.
Yes. The same Comcast that you trust for TV and Internet service in your home is now available for your business. Where does the great Comcast customer service come from? Your Comcast authorized business telecom agent.
Why do Telecom Agents make Comcast's Customer Service Better?
Good question.
In their service availability footprint (see the list of cities and states below where Comcast offers service), Comcast has amazing business phone service, wide area data/Ethernet solutions and business-grade broadband Internet. But what if you have a multi-location business and some of your locations are not in the Comcast service footprint?
That's where professional telecom agents provide perfect customer service.
All "Tables" are Telecom Agent "Tables"...
When you're a "direct customer" of AT&T, Verizon or even Comcast for that matter and you ask them to help you with an inter-carrier connectivity challenge that you're having with another provider you're likely to get told, "Sorry, that's not my table" like a rude waitress in a restaurant with poor service.
Professional telecom agents though specialize in knitting together different carriers into a single solution when a multi-carrier solution is the most appropriate choice for the customer.
To achieve an economical customer solution that integrates the best of what multiple carriers have to offer, independent telecom agents must know and track which carriers have the ability to properly pre-engineer a multi-carrier solutions and them trouble shoot challenges post-installation.
Professional telecom agents know which carriers "play nice" with their competitive peers and which don't. All communication carrier "tables" are telecom agent "tables".
Don't Verizon and AT&T Work with Independent Telecom Agents?
Not really.
Of the three "incumbent local phone carriers", Verizon, AT&T and Qwest (what's left of "Ma Bell"), only Qwest has a program that embraced and works closely with independent sales or telecom agents for the benefit of their business customers. Verizon and AT&T only really work with "exclusive agents" who do not also sell other competitive carriers.
As a business end-user you're more interested in getting the best solution at the best price with the best customer service. Only an experienced and independent telecom agent can provide you that. Because Comcast has embraced the independent telecom agency model we can say that "Comcast gets it" and as such Comcast gets the nod over Verizon and AT&T as "one of the good guys" who can be counted on to work for the customer's best interests and not just their shareholder's best interests.
Independent Telecom Agents Combine with Comcast to bring "The Force" to Your Business .....
If you're in one of the cities below you're in a Comcast city. The black and blue cities and states are from Comcast's site. The red cities and states are from a separate list of Comcast cities.
So if you're in a Comcast city (or any city for that matter) and you still have your business phone service with AT&T or Verizon but you'd like to access a friendly, experienced and independent multi-carrier telecom consultant to tailor a special solution for your business, give an independent telecom agent a call.
